![]() If your bad camera meets all the criteria, then the technician must then review the case with his supervisor and get the necessary authorization to replace the defective device. Keep in mind, Lorex technicians has a very strict procedure to follow to make sure the camera is really defective and not caused by operator error. In this case I think I know where the problem is and maybe I can help Lorex in perfecting this particular camera. I plan to post about this camera in another section at this Forum. The people in the technical support group isn't up to speed on this problem and they kept sending me replacements with the same defect. The original camera of this model was changed out three times and they all exhibit the same problem (factory or design defect). My real problem I'm experiencing is with Lorex's new motorized camera (LBV2723-C). The only reason I'm considering switching the recorder is that I depend on technical support and since Lorex has quit providing this service I thought maybe it's time I change out the recorder of a different brand that provides excellent technical support that I need occasionally. The recorder completely failed in June and Lorex replaced it and I have not had any problem since then. ![]() I upgraded my Lorex system in February 2016 by purchasing their latest model recorder (DV708-D) and also updated my cameras from 720 to 1080HD cameras. I think I saw over 100 people venting their anger toward Lorex. ![]() My primary reason for posting my thread at this Forum is to get some answers. I am not angry at Lorex and I am not trying to get even for their poor service. ![]() Apparently I didn't do enough to explain why I'm posting my comments/questions at this Forum. ![]()
